Digital Exhibition · I'Arte Rinasce
Twenty-eight objects. Five centuries of making. One act of repair at a time. A digital journey through the conservation process — before, during and after.
About This Exhibition
The Restoration Rooms is a digital exhibition dedicated entirely to the art of conservation. Twenty-eight works — paintings, sculpture, works on paper, textiles and decorative arts — are presented here not as finished objects, but as journeys. Each slider reveals the transformation; each treatment record documents the decisions made in the studio.
This exhibition is organised into five rooms by treatment type. Move through each room at your own pace. Drag the slider to reveal before and after. Click any work for the full conservation record.
